Bill Chapman Invitational

The Bill Chapman Invitational at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro was Trinity Academy’s first race of the 2019 season, Trinity’s third cross country season total. Our team continues to grow and nearly doubled from last year’s size. For many of our runners, this was a first experience in any kind of running competition so as coach I was happy that there were 3,000 meter options to give that shorter course experience and let the newbies test out their legs. We did not compete as a team in any event as we did not have 5 runners present.

We had two top-ten placements with Tessa Cowley getting 7th in the women’s 3,000 meter novice race (no prize however) and Luke Frechette placing 6th overall in the men’s varsity race with a time of 17:25.
