Latourell Falls in Snow

My parents were visiting from Philly. They come about twice a year, usually during a more amicable weather pattern then early to mid February. There just wasn’t a whole ton of fun outdoor activities to participate in with rain most days.

But Monday was different. A bright orb appeared in the sky, so out we went to the Gorge and our closest waterfall: Latourell.

What I didn’t take into account was the possibility of snow. I mean, I knew they might have some but didn’t think about the mud and ice and all around treachery that it could introduce upon our “easy” 2 miles.

We went, we saw, we conquered, we didn’t fall. Success was had by all!
